Burberry Jacket- color question
I recently ordered the Burberry Copford quilted jacket (gift from DH for Xmas). I went with the Navy because I thought it would look great with jeans, I already have black jackets, and the black is very common. While I do love the navy, I'm afraid I may be limiting myself too much. I wear a lot of black clothing too, esp for work, and wil be sad when I can't wear my jacket! (It's not as though I have a full closet of designer jackets, Kwim?!) should I keep navy or go with the safe and practical black that I can wear with everything.

I think DH bought me the same jacket but he picked out the plum and I have to say I love it. I only wear denim or black pants, sometimes gray and it seems to go with everything.
I think I would keep the navy

Thanks for the input! I was thinking the plum would be a nice option too because it does go nicely with black. I'd like to see it in person though and they didn't have it at bloomies.

personally i'd stick with navy .....the plum is a nice option too
I feel like the black ........eh EVERYONE has that jacket in black - KWIM?

I'm actually going to check out the new chino color in the store today. While I get nervous wearing a light color jacket with two little kids it looks like a nice, neutral color.
Anyone know how these jackets hold up to dirt and stains? I know it's dry clean only.

I love the navy! I don't think it's a big deal to wear with black pants. Plum would be good too.

I have black, but I don't think you can go wrong either way! Both are great colors, so I would just keep the one you like the best.

I like them all! Lol honesty, I'm sooo practical so it's hard for me to make decisions like this. The camel color (new chino) is really nice and would go with a lot but I have two little ones and would be nervous about wearing an expensive jacket in a light color, Kwim? Plus, i could pull off wearing a darker color on a not-so-cold winter day while the chino looks very spring/fall. I need to stop over thinking silly things like this!

I have the quilted black one and I feel like everyone else has it too! I do like the Navy and I wear a lot of black and Grey when not wearing scrubs but the Navy would go with it.

The navy is so dark it actually looks black in some light.

I have it in black. I know everyone has it but - there is a reason for it! I find I can wear it with almost everything and get my money's worth!

Do you all wear yours even during the winter? I've seen a few ppl wearing it recently! I rarely wear my heavy down jacket anyway because I'm always warm.

No I wear it in the fall until it gets chill and in the spring into summer. I've only seen people wearing it on the really warm days in late Nov. not since then.

So I looked up the jacket and that is not the one I have . I have 2 Burberry ones. One that looks similar to the Copford but it is the Heritage. That I have in black. When DH bought it for me a few years ago he originally bought me this pale blueish gray color and I knew it would get dirty. I have a white North Face and I clean it a few times a season. I exchanged it for the black and I wear it from fall until spring. For a light weight jacket it keeps me pretty warm. The Copford, hands down I would get in red. I was actually admiring the red when I was in Nordstroms recently.
This year DH bought me the long down filled puffer and that is what I have in plum.

I own the navy one! I love it and I really don't care, I wear it with black sometimes because its such a cute coat. I didn't want black either, plum may be nice but they did only start making navy recently so I feel sort of special in it

Yay! I wore it today and without thinking grabbed my already packed black diaper bag. I really didn't love the way it looked together but I think I'm going to keep it anyway. I don't always use that bag anyway.
So, you wear it with black shoes/bags sometimes?
Do you wear it year round?
