Busing question
My son is in special class . ( non integrated) This year the district is bussing him with regular kids Is this the norm? Last year he was in a special bus ( only special needs )
Today one of the kids told me that my son should take a different bus .. I am upset and not sure what to do

This depends solely on the child's needs. Special education class doesn't automatically have a different bus. That is a horrible thing for another kid to say - do you know why he said that? If you have concerns about him being on the regular bus you can definitely request the special transportation - but there has to be a reason for it.

Busing question
He was always removing his shoes and they were saying for him to put it on.. I know it’s only another child , but they had a better matron before Now they have an old lady who doesn’t even get up ... I don’t care they have him with regular children, but they should have an appropriate matron who knows there are kids with special needs on the bus ..
I wrote to his class teacher I know I will hear more worse things as times go on and I need to get a thicker skin..

It's the norm to get a regular bus unless there is a specific need. We have door to door because my son is a runner with sensory issues. Waiting at the bus stop is unsafe and the bus ride itself is too loud for him.
