Butcher Block Kitchen Counter Tops
Anyone have one? Do you like it/regret it? How is the upkeep? Different than a regular counter?

Re: Butcher Block Kitchen Counter Tops
I have one and I like it. Ours is treated with a finish, so it doesn't stain or absorb anything. I treat it like a normal countertop (I use a cutting board and don't use the counter) so the upkeep is the same, if not easier, than the granite I had in my previous home.

Re: Butcher Block Kitchen Counter Tops
you shouldn't put butcher block around a sink- it's a recipe for disaster- wood and water do not mix...
