Buying a home and sleep
Now that we have gone into contract, I cannot sleep. I am constantly redecorating the house while laying in bed. It is borderline obsession. I am tired. Is this normal?

I hope so, because I'm the same way Unfortunately for us the actual closing has been delayed 3 times by our buyers - so now i'm not sleeping for other reasons

OH goodness, I would die! We have to be out of our apartment by a certian time, that would REALLY screw us over!!! Is that normal to delay closing?

honestly I hear alot of both - that it was smooth or a total nightmare. I keep apologizine to my movers, painters, etc for cancelling so many times and they say "no worries, we get this ALL the time. Closing don't usually happen when you want them too."
However in MY case, my buyers have the worlds worst attorney and he is the reason we are delayed. The banks are ready....
I hope you are one of the smooth transactions. The banks take a long time, so just factor all of that in.

I started doing this as soon as our offer was accepted on the house...the deal fell through in the end, but I was up nights trying to think of all the furniture we'd need and what colors I'd paint...
