Anyone's DC ONLY sleep at home?
My son is a great sleeper. 10-11 hrs. a night and 2-3 hr. nap during the day. The problem is though that he will only sleep at home in his crib. When my mim or inlaws watch him, he WILL NOT sleep at all! The next day if he's home, like clockwork he goes down. He has a routine of white noise (humidifier) and cd that we put on. Im going to try to recreate that at my moms, hope it works! Anyone else have a little one like this? Any advice?

DD is the same way.....its a hassle at times but she has to sleep. We pretty much plan our day around her nap/bedtime.

My nephew is like this. My sis in law carries around her sound machine and his blankets to try to "re-create" his room

Re: Anyone's DC ONLY sleep at home?
Both my DC prefer their cribs. They were never able to nap in the stroller or car either. Occasionally if we are taking a long car ride that cuts into their nap time they will sleep in the car (30 minutes tops.) They go to daycare 3 days a week and it's hit or miss if they nap, if they do it's generally very short compared to what they do at home. However it took us a long time to get them to do that. If we are at a hotel or anyone else's home, NO they will not nap at all. I gave up trying.

Yes. He will nap at daycare, but that's his regular routine. Anywhere else, he won't sleep. Never really slept in the stroller. He will sometimes drop off in the car, but these days I am lucky if I get 30-45 minutes even if he is exhausted.
We recently went on our first vacation and getting him to sleep at night was a bit rough.
