Buying Christmas Trees In Lindenhurst?

We just moved here and I have no idea where they sell live trees.

We used to get our trees at Hick Nursery in Old Westbury and they were always FANTASTIC.

Anyone know where in the Lindenhurst or surrounding area we can go to get a great tree?

(I know it's very early but I like to plan ahead)

Do you know if there are any nurseries that sell them? I find at HD or other lots the people don't really know much about the trees.

Re: Buying Christmas Trees In Lindenhurst?

We're very picky with trees - kinda stupid I know, but it has taken us hours and more than one stop to find a tree. Type, height, how long it's been cut, how they've been watered, all things we like to know.

I find at nurseries they'll do the cut and help to shape the tree more than at a pop up lot.

We were also considering a live tree this year since it's our first year in the house so that we could plant it.

Has anyone ever done that?
