Buying concert tickets on EBay (question about prices)

I'm buying tickets for American Idols Live for my daughter for her birthday. The prices on EBay right now are on the high side. Do you think closer to the concert they will go up, or do you think they will be trying to get rid of them and they will go down? Should I wait or grab them now?

I think the prices will stay high, unfortunately but this could depend on who the seller is.

I worked with a jerk of a guy a couple years ago who did this as his 2nd job. He would buy a block of concert tix as soon as they went on sale, then he would put them on eBay and see how much money people (hard-core fans) would pay for their favorite performer. He almost always made more than double what he paid for the tix.
In the rare occasion he wasn't able to sell them fast enough for a high enough profit - he usually used the tix himself or gave them away to his friends. He was making such a killing profit from all the others that he couldn't stomach selling them for close to the actual price he paid. Jerk.
