Suntan lotion question....
do you buy a fresh bottle of suntan/sunblock every year? i have a few bottles from last year that i hardly used. can't find an exp date on them. do you think they are still ok to use or should i buy new?

I replace them every year. I read some article from the Skin Cancer foundation about effectiveness after a certain number of years- I can't remember the specifics, but to be safe I just replace them

I BELIEVE I read somewhere that the companies need to have it be effective for 3 years..so check the date on the bottle.

Ive read something about them losing some potency over time but not sure of the timetable.
I will usually keep using the old ones for regular everyday use and then buy a new bottle for the beach, boating etc. when I know we'll really be outside for a while
