Re: Buying/Eating Organic:
We are veggie, so we don't buy meat. But we buy organic/natural fruits, veggies, snacks, sugar, and Amy's stuff which is made w/ organic ingredients

Re: Buying/Eating Organic:
I buy some organic veggies. Especially lettuce and broccoli. Sometimes carrots too.

Re: Buying/Eating Organic:
If you buy from a farmstand, it doesn't automatically mean it is organic right? If the farm uses pesticides or other chemicals on their crops, then they might be fresh, but they are not organically grown.

Re: Buying/Eating Organic:
I had no idea how bad some of the food is for you until I started reading about it vs. organic food. Now, I try to buy as much as I possibly can organic and was wondering how many other people are doing the same.

Re: Buying/Eating Organic:
not all farm stands sell 100% organic, many of them are growing with traditional pesticides & fertilizers but if I have my choice between chemically treated food store produce or stuff grown locally-I choose local.
Here's a like to a map of LI farm stands.
