buying organic baby food online?
i have always made all of my own baby food except when we went on vacation. now DD is on table foods and im introducing a lot of new foods, many of which DH and I don't cook or eat on a normal basis. i recently bought a pack of happy baby vegetable amaranth ratatouille and really loved it to add some variety to the foods i make for her. what i really loved about it was that it smelled like exactly what it was, i even tasted it and it was decent.
anyway i would like to buy some more of these and see what all the organic lines offer, but i feel like the supermarkets never have the full lines or necessarily the best prices. BBB/BRU had some but i wasn't sure if that was everything either or if those were the best prices.
does anyone buy stuff like this online? if so what are the best sites as far as price and selection? i really like happybaby and plum organics, but id like somewhere that has a nice selection of any organic brand. thanks!

Re: buying organic baby food online?
I've found a decent variety of organics at the BBB in Carle Place. They have Ella's Kitchen, Peter Rabbit, Happy Baby, Earth's Best and Plum Organics. I also found a larger variety at Fairway in Plainview. I try to swing in there whenever I am in that area and stock up.
I've also ordered from Amazon but my only issue is most of the stuff comes in a package of 12 and I like to buy a mix of different flavors. Amazon is good on price though.

The new Fairway in Douglaston has a HUGE selection of organic baby food, more than I have seen anywhere else and they have pretty good prices. I do have the best luck price wise with BRU

Selection wise...BRU had the most. I would always stock up when they had a sale on Earth's Best or Plum Organics. Every once in awhile they had a deal on Ella Organics. Stop and Shop has good prices on those two brands too but a very limited selection. Living Social has deals through Ecomom. Bj's sells Happy Baby, you can get a box of 12 there.

We did the same. Diapers.com also has a selection.

Re: buying organic baby food online?
Sprout can be bought on line from its own web site as well as Amazon (better prices but have to buy 12 vs 6). I can't find all the meat varieties in store for any brands so on-line works well for me. Also, just order a bunch from the meat/fish line from Happy Babies from Amazon. Cheaper still for 12 packs.
