I used to work with a guy who had to have a prosthetic eye. When he was wearing his patch, we would get all funky fabrics to cover it so that it would match his outfits. Imagine neon pink leopard (Hey it was the early 90's & he was a guido).
You are am amazing person - So strong and positive - I wish you nothing but happiness for 2008... No one deserves what you have beren through. I admire how you have handle it....
GOOD LUCK and know you and your family are in my prays....
You have been down a road that no one deserves to travel. Your strength has always been unbelievable to me. You have been in my thoughts and prayers ALWAYS and you and your family will remain there.
OMg, thats just awful Deb. You must be scared and it just suckks!
Question- Stupid one at that, just curious..the prosthetic eye..its just there for cosmetic purposes right? So you will just have vision in one eye then from here on out?
You poor girl. Is it a hard surgery recovery wise etc?
it's nthere for cosmetic purposes but it is also there so keep the face up, without it your eyelids and the skin above the cheeks would start sinking in and all kinds of otherproblems woud start happening. I no longer have vision in my left eye so it doesnt mean anything to me. For a while I was able to see light and dark but ove the last week or so that has gone bye bye and no if I close my right eye there is nothing but black (and sometimes I get those little circle/specs you get when you get up too fast
OMG.....Just horrible all you have had to go through.
Prayers for a speedy surgery, recovery and NO MORE DRS!!
