Please excuse the question but I'm not too familiar since this is my first house:

How long does it take to get the final C/O? apparently the final inspection was conducted on June 24? The sellers attorney stated that we should have it by end of this week beginning of next. My bank cleared us to close since they received the "receipt" stating the final inspection passed back on 7/2 but my attorney refuses to close stating it is legal malpractice to close without final C/O. I'm more worried since I locked in my rate and it's set to expire on 7/17. The C/O is from the Town of Brookhaven.
