c-section moms (esp. emergency c-sections or moms with raised scars)
my scar healed bumpy and raised. thats just how it is. its nearly 2 years so i know its not going to get any better. i had an emergency c-section under general anesthesia and was open for over 2 hours due to issues with bleeding and getting the placenta out. i think thats why it healed funky, since i was open for so long.
anyway i was shaving tonight and got a small cut on the bumpiest part of my scar. it was a tiny little cut but it bled for a half hour and i usually clot pretty quick. i dont have feeling there so it didnt hurt or anything but i was wondering if i should do anything about it like put neosporin on it or anything. has anyone else gotten a cut on their cs (or any other raised and puffy) scar??

My c-section scar isn't raised, but I DO have a large keloid scar on my thigh. I've cut it before and all I did was put an antibiotic on it like neosporin.
