Cabinet paint
What color exactly should we be using on the bathroom and kitchen cabinets? Is it just a regular white color? I use Sherwin Williams paint. That's what's big around where I live in NC. 
Will I also be getting it in a gloss, semi-gloss (Eggshell), etc? Thanks!

We're painting ours as well will do it in a glossy finish (we'll probably use Benjamin Moore) in a bright white color

We used a glossy white color for our cabinets from Sherwin Williams.
DH went into the store and told him what he was doing and they recommended the paint for him. The cabinets we had were a very dark brown and he just had to sand them and paint, he didn't have to use primer.
I believe he used the ProClassic paint.
We chose white because it went the best with the rest of our kitchen in the interim. If you feel an offwhite shade would go better with yours, I'd go with that.

I just painted my cabinets. I used Alabaster White from SW in a semi gloss. I then glazed over them with a glaze and color from Home Depot. I love how they came out. If you did the alabaster by itself, it would probably be too white.
