Do you have issues with your recordings? Lately, when we watch our recordings we find it skips or drags or just in general doesn't play back parts. It won't be the whole recording just a piece. At first we thought it was only happening to channel 4 shows but now it is happening randomly to everything. I have to get it fixed before I miss a recording of Lost!!!

I wrote to cablevision and they said to reboot which we have already done several times. Wondering if it is the hard drive on it.

Just curious if any experienced similar before I call them up.

WE've only had ours a few weeks, but so far we haven't had any problems.

We've been having problems as well, but different from yours. Ours just randomly starts recording a channel for hours and hours and wecant stop the recording. We call and they tell us to reboot and it fixes it, but its happening alot now. Someone told my DH that there was some sort of recall on the the very first boxes, and we've had ours for a long time so its prob. one of the defective ones. I keep meaning to call about it.

you mean with little cole - you don't have the free time to call? lol The days when I am home Kevin has been keeping me busy and I never get around to calling - one reason I am checking here first.

Funny you said about first boxes - I got it not too long after it was introduced too. I made DH wait a month (I planned to wait longer) because I am use to new stuff never being right with technology...I really have to call.
