Caesar Dressing
Is bottled caesar dressking safe to ea? I thought that it was only the homemade one that we couldnt eat. But I had some last night, and woke up this morning sooooo sick. I have never had food poisoning, but Im thinking this might be what it feels like.
Should I call the dr? I am so upset right now.

Re: Caesar Dressing
the only ceasar dressing that would be not safe to eat is when they make it with raw egg- a lot of places dont do this anymore...

Re: Caesar Dressing
Bottled should be fine. Check the date, stay hydrated, and feel better soon

Re: Caesar Dressing
It should say on the bottle whether there are raw eggs in the dressing. I think most bottled dressings don't use raw eggs. Feel better.

Re: Caesar Dressing
if it had raw egg in it, you would have had to buy it in the refrigerated section. i am thinking it was either spoiled or something else you ate feel better!!!

Re: Caesar Dressing
anything that was in a bottle (especially if the sealed bottle can be stored at room temp) is pasteurized and perfectly safe.
only caesars at restaurants you have to ask if they make the dressing with pasteurized eggs.....
