cake or bakery suggestions
I live in Massapequa and I want a # 1 cake for DS's first bday. Does BJs do shapes other than the sheet cakes? Otherwise can you suggest someone or a bakery that can make my cake? I dont want to spend a fortune. TIA!

We bought ours from Black Forest Bakery on Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst. It was a little on the pricey side ($75) but so worth it. It was beautiful and delish!

If you live in Massapequa, then you should definitely pay Capri a visit (on Merrick Rd, just west of Rt 135). They are awesome, and not overpriced. We have been getting all sorts of cakes from them for years.
Spiga on Merrick Rd in Bellmore is amazing, too, but a bit more pricey.

I love Dortoni's in Levittown. Also Capri in Seaford and Best Ever on Broadway in Massapequa.

My MIL used to design the cakes there until maybe 5 mnths ago
