Calling all Oakdale OBGYN girls...

Just wondering, did you have to notify your insurance companies about your pregnancy and how does the registering for hospitals work? Do you have to register at both Southside and Good Sam?

I was told that they only really deliver at Southside. When I called Southside about registering, they said that I could either do it before, or even the day that I go into labor. Unfortunately, I was there twice this week, so now I am all registered. But it was a very quick registration process, so I would think if you did it when you went it, it would be fine.

I am not sure about the insurance. I didnt even think about calling them.

Also, to let you know, I absolutely LOVED all of the nurses in the L&D at southside. I am sooooo happy that I am delivering there!! The second time I went this week, they were soooo busy (they had already had 8 c's that day), so I thought that the treatment wouldnt be the best. But it was wonderful. Even though I wasnt delivering, I still felt like I was their main concern. I LOVE THEM!
