Calling all tech-savy people... computer to tv question
What kind of cord would I need to hook my laptop up to my flat panel TV?
I want to be able to play slideshows off my computer on my TV.
My TV is a Samsung if that matters.
A regular USB doesn't work.
Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It really depends on what types of outputs and inputs your laptop and TV have. S-Video cables and VGA cables are the most common ways of doing what you want to do.

what kind of laptop do you have including model number... what model samsung do you have?
Chances are 50/50 that you can use S-Video...You may have a VGA on both..but i would need model numbers to reserach to see if you can do this...
Why not burn a DVD and play it off your DVD player..?

I do have the capablity for the S-Video. Thanks so much for the FM bomb-blast!!!!!
I can't burn to DVD because unfortunately my laptop is 5 years old and didn't come equipped with a DVD burner. Good idea though for the future! Thanks!!!
