Can a convertible crib be turned into a daybed?
G's in a full bed, her crib that converted, and most likely getting moved to a smaller room with the new babies coming.
The full bed is too much for that room.
I would hate to not use it. It was costly, beautiful and a gift from my parents.
Its antique white and kind of girly so not really a crib that I can use for one of the twins ( if sono is accurate and they are boys).

I know that our Munire crib turns into a toddler bed (with rails) into a day bed into a double.

Ours, also a Munire, also turns into a "daybed" but its really just a toddler bed without the rail...it can't accommodate a twin sized mattress like a regular daybed.

On most convertible cribs, you just take the front panel off, and the other 3 sides make it a toddler bed, still using the crib mattress.

This is what we have been doing since Victoria is about 18 months. She loves it! Although I think we may get a new mattress soon.

you mean a standard size daybed with a twin mattress? if so, then no.
but you CAN make it a daybed with a crib mattress.
