Yes. I have a few friends that I see every now and then. We meet up just us sometimes and with each other's significant other. DH calls one of them my boyfriend as a joke but I am more comfortable with it than he is. He also has a few friends from work that he socializes with but infrequently.

i agree. i have alot of married male friends that are like brothers to me.

I think so. One of DH's best friends from childhood is a female who is married. One of my good friends is a male who's married. It works.

I don't see why not, I have a lot of male friends and we never think about it.
The only time a friendship would be an issue in a marriage is if the marriage were going "sour".

one of my best friends is a male- I am married and he is in a relationship-we have known eachother since birth-he was a groomsman in my wedding-we are close -he comes to my house , has stayed over- there is no sexual connection, we are friends-more like family...the brother I never had...it is possible to be like that
