I think Kiddie Junction in Levittown has programs starting at 2 1/2.

My ds is 2.5 and goes to the toddler program at Wee Friends in Wantagh. I LOVE the teacher in the toddler program, she is so loving. You can do 2 days or 3 days, 9-11:30 or 12-2:30. We do 3 days in the am. My dd was in the same program last year.
I have a friend who sends her 2.5 yo dd to the Lutheran school on Island Rd in Wantagh. She really likes it and it's very inexpensive. They aren't Lutheran, they are Roman Catholic.
My brother's friend sends his dd to the school across the street from the Applebee's parking lot in Bellmore. They are really happy with the school.
Maplewood has a toddler program that I've heard great things about.
Pixie (on Wantagh Ave near the 5&10) is another one that I've heard great things about.
Our Redeemer in Seaford is a co-op, so you need to help in the classroom on a rotating basis, but I hear it's a great program and very inexpensive.

So glad you posted this Nancy, I have to find something for Ryan for Sept, just 2 days a week for 1/2 days, but I need a 3yr old program. I have seen a few others around that i'm going to check out.
