Can anyone answer a quick Ferber question?
It's been over an hour Roman's been screaming. Should I just let him scream until...? I've gone in twice to just rub his back and he closes his eyes and immediately quiets down

Maybe you can stay longer rubbing his back? I don't think its bad to keep doing it and then slowly transition away from doing it as long over time.

Maybe try rubbing his back until he drifts off? At least he'd understand that he needs to fall asleep in the crib

Re: Can anyone answer a quick Ferber question?
Every child is different so I am not sure what to say. When we did CIO with Abby I stopped going in to comfort her. It only made the crying last longer. She would calm down and then when I left start all over again. It was like going back to the beginning. However you have to do what is right for you to. Try going outside for a little bit. If you can not hear the crying it is easier.

Re: Can anyone answer a quick Ferber question?
thanks girls. DH came home and scooped him up out of the crib He came into the living room with his face all scratched up and he looked pizzed at me. I couldn't look at him, he continued to cry in DH's arms for about 15 minutes then passed out. Note to self make sure DH stays later at work
