Can anyone help me plan a Riverhead area vacation lol
A few months ago we were at a fundraiser for a friend who has a rare disease and we won a nights stay at the Hotel Indigo in Riverhead at the Chinese Auction. I heard really great things about it so we are really excited. I am having a baby in March so my MIL was like, "well how romantic of a night will it be from here on out so why don't you just take DS with you and make it like a last little vacation with just the 3 of you before the baby arrives" DH's birthday is on Wednesday so she told him that she would give us money to go out for the day and have some fun. She recommended the aquarium and maybe going out to eat in town at those cute little restaurants but we aren't too sure. DS's godfather has an "in" at the aquarium and wanted to take him when it got warmer to do the outside stuff and he gets special privileges so he wanted to do something special like that for him and I figure the aquarium would be better in the spring.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to what we could do out there? Fun places to go with DS (17 months), good places to eat, etc, etc.

CMEE is fun fr kids. Not in Riverhead, it's in Bridgehampton, but not too far of a drive.

Safari Adventure is in Riverhead near the outlets. It's an indoor play place. Super fun, and it's really clean.
