Can anyone recommend????
A Bed and Breakfast or a nice place to stay in the Tarrytown, NY area? I wanted to treat DH away for our anniversary this fall, visit some of the beautiful historic homes in the area, take in the fall foliage around the Hudson River, but I have no idea where a good place to stay would be.

I have an office in Tarrytown, so I asked one of the guys that live up there, here is what he emailed me back
Halloween weekend is tremendous, its called Legend's weekend--type it into Google. I also highly recommend the Great Pumpkin Blaze.
Places to stay;
The Castle---5 star, great place to go if someone else is paying.
Dolce Tarrytown House--
Marriot (one nice one, the other is Courtyard) Sheraton, Double Tree in Tarrytown.
Check out the Historic Hudson Valley site.
You may also want to check out river towns to the north, like Croton etc....

I second staying at the Castle on the Hudson. It's gorgeous! They have a really nice spa there too!
