Can anyone recommend a nursery school/Pre K in the Islip/Bay Shore area?
DD just turned 4 and since she cannot start kindergarten until she is 5 I need to get her into something ASAP. I go back to work at the end of April so I'm trying to figure this all out before then.

DS goes to Alphabet Kids nursery school in Babylon Village on Montauk Hwy. I cant say enough good things about our experiences there.

I used to nanny for a family of three and the youngest started Alphabet Kids at 3. They worked wonders with this kid. Their home life was pretty bad, nasty divorce with joint custody so the dad would spoil the kids rotten and so would to mom to "win" no rules, no learning, no manners, no structure. He was very far behind but after Alphabet Kids there was a huge, huge change in him. He learned so much there and the teachers were great. We actually just went to a preschool open house at the Babylon Village library because we are looking to get DS into a 2yr old program in the fall and Alphabet Kids was there and remembered me, and this was 2+ years ago. They are the sweetest.
