Can anyone recommend an amazing colorist in NYC?
I think I am going to finally take the plunge and color my hair. I am a fair skinned natural redhead so I am a bit nervous. It will be very easy for me to be washed out with the wrong shade. I also have "virgin hair", the closest I came to coloring was some subtle highlights 10 years ago. I need someone who is really excellent! Manhattan or Brooklyn works for me. TIA.

I had the best color when I used to go to Arrojo studio (the guy that used to be on What Not to Wear). He has a salon! Amazing colorists! It's on Varrick Street. Across Culture Club.
I used Vincent for my haircuts. He used to do my colors too but they have colorists only.
It's $$$$ but I used to have so many complements on my hair. I have thin/fine hair that you really cannot do much with. They used to make miracles with it.

Kristy and the Cutler Salon on 57th. Her prices are very reasonable (for NYC) too!
