Can anyone recommend their primary care doctor in the Babylon area?
Not a pediatrician. I would like a smaller office. Not one with 7 doctors working at the same time! Thanks...

We go to Jen Mingione on Great East Neck Road in West Babylon. It's a super small office, just her and a nurse, but we love the care we get there. She's very thorough. The only thing I don't like is that you call and leave a message, and then they call you back in like 15 minutes to schedule an appointment. They're not always there, but if it's serious and you need to be seen right away, they will meet you at the office at any time, day or night. Last winter when I had pertussis, they met me at 9pm at the office.

I just found Diane Magliulo (pronounced (My-ooh-Lo)
She's at 245 W Main Street in Bayshore
The practice is her and her husband.
She's new to me, but so far so good. I've been searching for a DR. I feel confident in for a while and I like her. Very down to earth and takes her time listening to you

I don't want to hijack but is there a long wait when you go?

Slightly longer drive, but we live in Amity Harbor and go to Dr. Levitt in Massapequa Park. DH's family and several friends have been going to him for years. He's about a block or so north of Smokin' Al's.
One of his receptionists leaves a lot to be desired, but I find there's always one in any doctor's office really.
He is extremely thorough and I also like the NP for that office, as well.

So ridiculously fast it's not even funny. They never overbook. Usually my butt doesn't even hit the chair. DH says he waited 10 minutes once, that's the longest either of us has ever waited.
I do occasionally wait for an appointment though. They will ask you, "Can it wait until Friday?" for example, if you were to call on a Tuesday. If it can't, they bring you right in.
