can anyone suggest a 5 day diet?
I am going to be doing budoir pictures as a surprise for DH. I'm about 5lbs from my regular weight and would love to drop it this week. I know it will come back on, and I will work to take it off permanently, but can anyone suggest a lose-weight-quick type of diet? It also can't be too obvious, because I want the whole thing to be a Valentine's Day surprise.

Re: can anyone suggest a 5 day diet?
This suggestion may not be healthy :)But I get the feeling you're looking for a quick fix, not a long-term way of life.
One time I wanted to drop weight very quickly and I ate 1200 calories a day (normal amount for a diet)... but with 0, zilch, zip grams of carbs per day. It was basically a combination of a low calorie diet plus an extreme Atkins diet. I did it for about a month and went from 135ish to 114 with minimal exercise, if any. I bet you would lose 5 pounds quickly.
Again, not advocating this as a way of life - it would be impossible to keep up anyway. But for a quick crash diet, for something special like your b-pics, it just might do the trick. good luck!
ETA - i'm not sure how obvious this would be to your DH. I would think you could pull it off without being totally obvious - not like you'd be doing a crazy juice fast or something.

Re: can anyone suggest a 5 day diet?
The 6 week body makeover is a sure way to do it quickly (I dont recommend it for long term lifestyle) but I did lose 5 lbs the first week. The major difference was... eliminate all sodium wherever possible. Only drink water, no caffeine, no added salt. I also found myelf having to check labels to make sure there wasn't over a certain amt of sodium (like tomato sauce, etc) No alcohol.. You have to be really diligent with it but it does work.
My diet looked like this: 2 egg whites with half grapefuit for breakfast
Snack: 2 hard boiled egg whites with other half of grapefuit
Lunch: 1/2 cup carb (brown rice) 4 oz lean protein (chicken) 1 cup green vegetables (salad)
Snack: carb and protein
Dinner: Protein and 1 cup vegetables (any kind)
Optional night time snack: ONLY fruit
It's hard to maintain because you HAVE to eat 5 times per day. The idea is that your metabolism is always going.. and the food is very low in calories if you add it up at then end of the day.
Like I said, 1 week 5 lbs.. after 2 weeks I lost 10 lbs and then I didnt want to lose anymore so I was done. I was also super moody because it was so regimented
GL!

I would drastically limit your sodium intake. Also, try not to eat any processed foods.
