Can anyone tell me about Dr. Hanauer/Dr. Dolisi's practice?

Dr. Hanauer comes highly recommended and I've made an appt for July. I haven't heard anything about Dr. Dolisi or the nurse practioners and office staff. Any info would be great. Thanks!

I have seen the nurse practioner for a Sentinel Breast Scan and I have met with Dr. Dolisi once and when he almost delivered my son. They are both really nice.

I love Dr. Hanauer. She is so sweet and never rushes you. I always get the last night appt so I have to wait sometimes but that is OK!

I actually miss her and look forward to my yearly appt (that may sound strange). I look forward to getting pregnant again and trust her completely!

She has become a very busy/popular Dr!

I have seen everyone in their practice. All of the nurses are fantastic, and they are in constant communication with the Drs. I had a pretty tough PG, and I went there almost every 2 weeks, then weekly since 28 weeks. 2 of the nurses there are also L & D nurses at Winthrop, which came in handy when I went there to get observed.

Dr. Dolisi delivered Giovanni, even though Dr. Hanauer is my Dr. I absolutely love her, and was equally as comfortable with Dr Dolisi.

I highly recommend their practice. Even the receptionists there are very helpful and supportive.

I see Laura Cerllini she is a NP in this office. She has been with this group for over 1 year now. I followed her from another group because I love her so much. I have been seeing her for 11 years now. The whole office staff is so nice everytime I go in there.

Dr. Hanauer is my dr. and I love her. I saw Dr. Dolisi once and felt confortable with him.

My scheduled c-section will be with Dr. Dolisi since Dr. H. will not be availabe that day and I am totally comfortable with it.

They have no problems working all together.

I also so Daniella the PA a couple of times at the beginning of my pregnancy. She is so nice too. I actually saw her at Winthrop a couple of weeks ago... I was doing the hospital tour and saw her. She recognized me and came to talk to me.

I also agree on the receptionists and nurses. They are always so helpful on the phone.

I see Daniela...I think she is fanstastic. I just switched to this practice from another practice in Great Neck. I love going there because the office is so calm and everyone is so nice and caring!

I went to her from the recommendations on here.... my three visits i have had exams with the 2 nurses, and the PA. They are all good and nice. They try to be sensitive so they dont hurt you too. I even got to meet the dr by chance b/c she had to confirm i was having a m/c after the nurse looked at me....

the only problem is my DH nick named her " Wait h AN-HOUR"- all three times I had to wait an hour for the nurse(an hour from when your appt time is scheduled, even though your on time) the girls waiting for the doctor were waiting even longer but i couldnt even get an appt with the dr. The second visit i was waiting a half hour in and ended up puking in the waiting room b/c a guy reeking of smoke came in, and they still had me wait another half hour(Hello, im puking b/c im miscarrying) and im in tons of cramping pain. cant they at least see me on time, considering the waiting room was empty when i arrived that time- nope tons of girls arriving after me went in before me ) I did read about other girls waiting for a while with her too but i just cant stand it in a crowded waiting room.

So I ended up switching for the second pregnancy. My new dr(also a recommendation from the boards) I love. The wait is less time(only 15 minutes instead of 60) and I actually get to see the doctor.

I tried to get an appt there and left a few messages ( I had a sort of emergency too, it has been 10 months and no one has called me back yet.....) and no one called me back, I decided this was not the practice for me. I go to a great ob/gyn now, ( female) if anyone wants the # just FM mail me. I have heard great things about this practice , and was not impressed when no one called me back, this is just my opinion.

Dr. Hanuer used to be one of the doctors at an office I worked for last year and everyone raved about her and some of the girls I worked with who got pregnant actually would leave to go see her rather then the doctors where we worked so I would say your in great hands. I really dont know about the others sorry.
