Can boaters dock boats on or near the Freeport Nautical Mile?

Can boaters dock boats on or near the Freeport Nautical Mile?
We have friends in Howard Beach that take their boat to eat out when they can & asked me about Nautical Mile. Is there a place there or only for the criuses to come and go?

I'm pretty sure that there are some restaurants where you can dock your boat. I think Rachel's is one of them. You could just give a couple of the restaurants that are on the canal side a call.

Most of the resturants on the left you can dock at, friends do it all the time

You can dock at most of the restaurants on the east side of the street.
