can i ask you ladies a furniture question?

were hoping to be in contract this week on our home and close by the end of april (this saying all goes quick and smooth) abby will need furniture so i was just wondering if you ordered from bru or bbb how long did it take for it to come in? which place to you recommend or do you recommend some place other then these 2?

im not looking to spend more then about 2k for everything

I ordered from Land of Nod and BBB. My crib is from Land of Nod and took no time at all to come in - they have furniture in stock and ready to ship. My dresser and my glider came from BBB and took FOREVER. The glider came in first - not sure when since they didn't call until the dresser came in too (I only found out about the glider being in when I called to check on the order). The furniture from BBB completely depends on the manufacturer and their lead time. My dresser was from Mother Hubbard and was supposed to take 8-12 weeks and ended up taking 13-14 weeks, which was annoying. However, I must say that BBB's customer service has been great - they made some mistakes relating to the delivery date, etc., and went out of their to correct them and were really nice about it too so even though my furniture took a long time, I was really happy with them since their customer service was so great.

ETA: also, I was able to get money back after my furniture was delivered by bringing in my receipt, a $50 off coupon, and a 20% off coupon - they were willing to do the price adjustment as long as the coupon was not expired even though I had already received my stuff. I saved a lot of money this way and this is just another example of their excellent customer service.

I got my son's furniture from BBB. I loved that we could use 29% off each piece. The furniture we chose was IN STOCK too.

i ordered from living quarters in brooklyn. they have 2 floors of baby furniture that is cheap and then they also sell floor models for less than half the price. i would check it out!!!!

BBB, 1/2 was in stock, the other half they said 3-4 weeks, but they called after 1 week and said it was in.

We ordered furniture from JCPenney's and had it delivered to the store for pick up. We got it within 5 days. This is of course assuming that it's available and in stock. We were very pleased with the experience, and I think they're very reasonably priced.

We ordered from BBB with a coupon The furniture was in stock and it just sitting in the warehouse waiting on us. We are having it delivered 3/10
