Can I ask you ladies one more question?
I just got my egg on the CBEFM for 2 days, followed by one day of High Fertility. I've been POAS for about 2 weeks straight each morning.
This morning, after that one day of high fertility, I was down to one bar and wasn't requested to POAS.
That was a quick decrease in fertility status...I was just wondering if this is typical, since this is my first method using CBEFM.

I had the same thing happen and I assume that after the last high day you decrease. You are only supposed to use 10 sticks a month. For me by CD16 I didn't POAS.

This is absolutely normal.
Basically, in your cycle you should get low readings, then 1-5 high readings (after your first month for MOST women), then 2 peak days, 1 high day, then back to low.
The second peak day and following high day are all automatic. So for me, I stop POAS after my first peak day so that I don't waste sticks. I have a long cycle, so it takes me a while to get to the peak and otherwise I'd go through a billion boxes of sticks!

Thank you! I know what you mean...I POAS so many times this cycle...I can't get over how many times I had to! The worst part is that I am a teacher and my "waking time" is at 5:30, so I can't go past 8:30 am on the weekends to POAS, according to the manual. It'll all be worth it....

Yes that sounds right. After day 16 or so you don't POAS until next CD6.

No problem! Remember, you can test 3 hours before OR after the time you set it. So if you want to sleep later on the weekends, set it for 7:30 - then you can test between 4:30 am and 10:30 am.
I wake up at 5:30 also on weekdays, but I just set my alarm to wake me at around 4 am on weekend days where I need to test, this way I can convince myself to go back to sleep! Knowing me, if I wake up at 5:30 I'll never fall back asleep!
