Can I bake this for a school fair?

I volunteered to make some cakes for our schools summer fete and my favorite chocolate cake recipe is a Chocolate Guinness cake. Do you think this is appropriate to make for kids? It has about a half cup of Guinness in it, not tons and it does bake out, but just wondering what you all think...

I do make it a lot and give it to my 4 year old...

Nigellas Chocolate Guinness Cake

The measurements are metric, but you might be able to find them in old style measurements.

Sorry, I don't think it's appropriate. I'm sure there are plenty of other chocolate cakes that you can make that are yummy, that don't include alcohol, whether or not in cooks out.

As a teacher, I'm going to say no, not for school. I would totally eat it outside of a school setting thoughChat Icon

I think anything alcohol related isn't appropriate. As a pp said, there are tons of other yummy Nigella creations that would be beter for schoolChat Icon

Thanks everyone, I spoke to the teachers today and they all said it was fine, however I might make a carrot cake and bring the choclate guinness cake to my babygroup instead.
