Can I bring DD to a kid's birthday party today if she has a cough?
She just started getting a cough yesterday. And she woke up this morning with a runny nose....she seems ok....but what would most of you do....her little friends 1st birthday is this afternoon....should I bring her?

Honestly, I would. Kids get runny noses all the time, unless she had a fever, I would probably still take her.

I agree with this.
If it seems like she feels crappy, take her home
ETA: a cough and runny nose aren't necessarily colds either, they can be teething or allergies too

If the cough was horrible then no.. bt if its just the beginning why not. Everywhere I go there are children coughing.. you cant help it sometimes

how runny is her nose and is it clear? Usually that might be an indication if it is just a cold versus something else. Also, how is she acting? Is she as energetic as normal? Eating like normal?
