Can I get away w/wearing flip flops to a wedding?
My feet are really swollen (a little over 36 weeks now) and I'm going to my friends wedding this weekend....
It's not super formal, but not super casual either...I have a black and white maternity dress to wear and I was thinking of wearing black flip flops...
Please tell me I can get away w/that because I'm pregnant I can't imagine stuffing my little sausage feet into something else right now

I think you can totally get away with it since you are pregnant-I'm sure a lot of woman will be taking their shoes off or changing to slippers anyway.
What about wearing the flip flops to the church, and when you get to the reception, put slippers on?

Depends what they look like . The ones I would wear to the beach , no. The "dressier" flip flops that can almost pass for shoes , yes.

I should have mentioned, the wedding is outside, NOT in a church.

I went to a wedding last Friday night and there were several girls in flip flops who were not pregnant. I say go for it!

When you are pregnant, you can get away with anything that makes you comfortable.

I was a bridesmaid at my friend's wedding and I was 8 months pregnant. I wore sparkly silver flip flops.

Re: Can I get away w/wearing flip flops to a wedding?
Yes. I would just make sure they are one of the nicer pairs of flip flops.
A lot of women switch from shoes to flip flops/barefoot at weddings.
