Can I put infant (generic) tylenol be placed in the bottle or does it have to be in the mouth?

Can I put infant (generic) tylenol be placed in the bottle or does it have to be in the mouth?
My baby is very irritable after her 6 weeks shots. The doctor said to give one dose (.8 mL) of generic infant tylenol. The box says to put it in the mouth. Can it also be put in the bottle?

I don't put any medicines in bottles (well when DS was on them) b/c IMO it messed up the dosages

I had to administer meds to one of my children at one week old.
The trick the NICU taught me was to take a nipple, put the measured dosage in that and let her suck it out of the nipple.
