Infant dosaging of Tylenol
Lexi has been a crank pot all day.... more than her normal grouchiness. I check her temp rectally and she has a slight temp.
I can't for the life of me remember teh pediatric dosaging for tylenol from when I worked in the hospital.
Does anyone have the dosaging guidelines or know where I can find it online?
She is 3 months and 10lbs 9 ozs..
I hope this is just teething.... her cousin who she briefly saw this weekend was just diagnosed with strep....

Re: Infant dosaging of Tylenol
Your baby is 4.7kg and can get between 47 and 70mg of Tylenol. The concentration of the infant Tylenol is 80mg/0.8ml. I'd probably give a dose that is between the 0.4ml and 0.8ml lines on the dropper, which would be 0.6ml = 60mg (it would be the easiest to measure).

Re: Infant dosaging of Tylenol
Please keep in mind that Tylenol directs you to use their dropper that comes with the bottle. According to the guidelines, a child weighing 10 lbs. should get 0.4ml. There is only 0.4ml and 0.8ml markings on the dropper. Hope she feels better soon!

Re: Infant dosaging of Tylenol
I'm pretty sure the ped told me .4mL when DS was approx 11lbs.
But I don't think that little babies can get strep, especially since you are BFing

This is what my Doc said to give DD when she was around 10 lbs.
