Re: Can I REALLY be allergic to
I took my son for allergy testing and they told me he was allergic to everything, including cats. I then felt horrible because he had lived his whole life with two cats in the house. A few years later, I noticed that he was petting the cats all the time and was fine. Now they sleep on his bed and he hasn't had a problem. Alot of the stuff they said he was allergic to has proven to be not an issue. As long as I keep the house very clean and stay on top of the cat hair, he doesn't ahve any problems. Although, he was never diagnosed with a food allergy.

Re: Can I REALLY be allergic to
I'm allergic to just about everything you listed! The dogs and cats and dust are the worst. I'm even allergic to wool.
Yesterday I broke out in HUGE hives from touching my car which was covered in pollen

Re: Can I REALLY be allergic to
I have had bad allergies on an off for years (you outgrow them and get new ones every I think it is 10 or 15 years???- so I was told:
I hear you on that - I have tested positive for: Goats milk (so no feta) coconut (but outgrew that) dogs (I had one for 15 years and it only mildly bothered me but not enough to get rid of her) Evergreens (so no christmas trees either) -btw they pollenate around valentines day so I used to get bad allergies every year around mid feb - beginning of mark or if we had real trees or wreaths in our house - so only fake Christmas trees etc for us. weeds wool dust mites mold some grasses some other trees
If you have a very minor reaction to it you might not get enough to really set you off. I think it is helpful to get them and know what you are allergic too so you can avoid it - BUT honestly unless it has bothered you in the past it probably isn't enough of an allergy to give it a second thought.
