Allergic Reaction.. on my face.. ughhh
So I went and bought a few new things at Sephora that I started using just the past couple of days.. and yesterday I noticed I was getting a patch of small pimples around my hairline.. I usually don't really break out, maybe just a small pimple here or there.. so I was suprised but not super shocked..
I wake up this morning and my face kind of felt oily.. which is rare for me.. so I'm doing my thing.. eating breakfast, feeding my son.. and finally I look in this magnifying mirror I have and...
HOLY CRAP.. I have a rash all over my face.. it's worst where it started on both sides of my forehead near my hairline.. but it's kind of on my cheeks also..
ANY IDEAS ON WHAT TO DO? I'm thinking just wash with Cetaphil and leave it alone? .. I just want it to be cleared up by this weekend
I feel gross..

i think you're right - you need to stop using ALL your makeup and just leave it alone, it should clear up by itself, especially with a gentle cleanser like cetaphil. if it doesn't look better in a couple of days you should see a derm to rule out a more serious irritation.

Stop using the makeup and take some benadryl!
It might be an ingredient in one of the products you were using! See if there's anything different in them from what you used be fore.

I agree. My mom has contact dermatitis - where she gets a rash from using certain kinds of makeup. It's gotten so bad before that she's had to be admitted to the hospital for days. When she notices a rash, she immediately starts taking benadryl and usually uses topical cortisone as well.
