I really never wear a fall jacket.
I hold out on ANY outerwear until the absolute last second I can....and then when it's freezing out I will begrudingingly wear some ugly winter coat.
I just don't like excess bulk.
It drives me insane.
I drive to work- run in the office- drive home- so I really don't need anything until it's super cold out.

I have coat issues too. Just got a new fall one from Banana Republic outlet and got 2 last season from ModCloth.

I purchased this one from Lands End in Regiment Navy. womens quilted insulator jacket link The arms are a little wide but I think it will be good for wearing sweaters underneath it.

I always buy one and end up hating it and never wearing it! I wind up wearing my rain coat for most of the season. Which reminds me, I need to buy a new rain jacket.

moto jacket (mine's actually slightly different than this)
and
and one similar to this, but in a beige-y gold color
and for rainy days that aren't really cold
I'm also a big fan of sweater capes (not exactly a "jacket" but serves the purpose ) i have one similar to this in cream color
I also have quite a few blazers, and if it's not freezing, i'll just wear them wit a scarf.

Mine is from Ann Taylor and is from i THINK two falls ago. I just googled a similar one to post since i'd never find a picture of mine online at this point.
Honestly i've done a lot of shopping recently and haven't seen anything very close to that one, but i'm sure they're out there somewhere!
