Can I share some New Year's Pics?
we had a small party. Luce went down at 8:30, woke up at 11:30, rung in the New Year and was then UP until 4:30 am    but I know I will look back fondly, even if I wanted to kill myself that night. 
we went to Grimaldi's first with our friends from Spain, then had family over. my big big boy!!!

Is that the same restaurant you went to after your wedding when you were eating a slice of pizza in your wedding gown??? (Yes, I have a crazy memory.)

On a side note your apt reminds me soooo much of our last apt in washington heights. The wall molding and the painted over glass panels above your kitchen doorway. We had those over every doorway too. Out of curiosity, do you have the old slots on your kitchen ceiling where they used to hang clothes lines?

Looks like it was a great time... but one of the reasons I go out for holidays is because the car ride home is guaranteed to put the kiddies to sleep. You have a party animal on your hands!

I got a new camcorder actually that takes nice still shots too (a canon) but these were taken by my friend who has some serious fancy dancy camera that I didn't even dare mess with.
Ruby, I will check on the ceiling thing for you tonight. I am not sure.
in my old house were I grew up, we had the pipes sticking out of the ceiling from the old lighting fixtures (a turn of the century brownstone)
