Can I spell her name...
Haley? I want it to sound like Hailey but spelled that way. Does it sound like Halle as in Halle Berry or would you say it like Hailey? TIA

i have a hailey of my own, but one of the other ways i was going to spell it was "haley" like you. but people told me they would prononce it "halle", like halle berry so i stuck with the "i". but there are lots of other ways to spell that name. how about, hayleigh?? that was another choice for us. hope i could help

My friend baby is Haley spelled the same way. I think it is fine.

I was going to ask you how you were planning on spelling it. I came up with a few different ways.
Hailey
Hailie
Haley
Haleigh

I'd definitely pronounce it "Hailey" if it was spelled Haley. Ive never met a baby whose name was pronounced like Halle Berry. Its a pretty name. I worked with 2 people who had daughters by that name. One spelled it Haley and the other spelled it Hayley. I dont think the spelling Haley is that uncommon.

Thanks, although fh says whats the big deal if it is spelled Hailey. Its not, its actually for a really silly reason. All of the personalized gifts and key chains always spell it Haley.  I guess thats not a good reason to change the spelling of a childs name
