Can I vent about Kraupner Pharmacy?? (sorry- it's long)

I called yesterday to refill 2 prescriptions I need for Saturday. I was given the choice of 3-7pm or 6-10pm today (Friday) for delivery. I chose 6-10 b/c I knew I'd be home. I put DC to bed @ 9 and wait. And wait. And WAIT. I was sure they'd come close to 10 as I live out east (and the last 2 deliveries were at the end of the window).

I worry for each delivery b/c we rent an apt over a garage in the backyard of our landlord's property, and they're in bed by 9:30-10pm. I ALWAYS ask for the delivery guy to call when he arrives so I can give directions on how to get back to our apt and not goto the house.


10pm come & goes. I finally call @ 10:15pm and give name/number. Decide I'll wait 30 min for a call back. No call back. I call again @ 10:45pm and give name/number again. At 11:05pm I get a call from a lady (didn't get her name b/c I'm livid now-and exhausted) saying she just spoke w/ driver & he'd be here in 20 min. Basically I tell her I'm in bed, give directions how to get back to our apt & she says she'll have him just leave the meds. I also tell her how upset I was.

I'm mad b/c I didn't even get a call saying he was running late. I didn't get a call after my initial call @ 10:15pm AND I could barely hear her b/c it sounded like a party going on in the background.

OMG- no joke, as I'm typing this (at 11:30pm, on my phone, in bed) I hear a knock @ the door!!!! The bimbo I spoke with only gave the driver directions to get back to my apt, DIDN'T tell him to just leave the meds!!!!!! LIVID! I'm so mad I can't sleep now.

Sorry, I just had to vent!!!

That is super annoying!!!!!!! I would be ******, I would also callin this morning and ask why?

OMG I had the same problem with them! Back in November I used them and they were supposed to be here between 7-10pm (I too live out east). I waited and waited and waited and nothing. So I called them and the woman told me someone would call me back. Nobody called and it was now at least an hour later. So I call AGAIN...guy told me he would leave a message that the girl (can't remember her name right now) would be back in tomorrow and call me back. Tomorrow??!!! Are you kidding???!!!! This is ridiculous now! So I become extremely irrate and am now yelling at this guy. He keeps telling me there is nothing he can do about it and is there anything else he can do for me. SO I scream..."yeah u can get me my meds here right now....this is time sensitive stuff here buddy!!" Well the girl finally calls me back like a 1/2 hr later and tells me the driver is running behind. She just spoke to him and he will be there within 20 minutes. Well why didnt they call me to tell me that rather than letting me stress out over this??!! Needless to say he got here about 45 minutes later (now after midnight mind u!) Needless to say NO tip for him and I was really upset. So I feel your pain. I will say that I tried them again a couple months later and had an earlier window and had better luck. But it stinks cause not many pharmacy's carry this stuff on hand and they kinda have you by the short hairs. Good Luck!
