I guess bc i am just not sure how to wear it, or if i will just look bad. I dont wanna be that girl, that people point at saying ooo she shouldnt be wearing that.

I think it would look great with a looser fitting top. Im not a fan of the tight on botom AND tight on top!

Yeah, no matter if you're a size zero or size twenty, I think you should always wear skinny jeans/leggings with a bigger or at least longer top.
ETA: Funny, because there was a thread just like this a few months ago and I think I was one of TWO people who said plus sized women can wear skinny jeans.

Yes you can BUT wear them wisely. Us bigger girls should wear the leggins that have a bit more lycra in them so that it kinda "holds everything in" more. JMHO Also I don't do tight tops with leggins or skinny jeans. A-line type shirts go perfectly and are extremely flattering.

I'm the minority here. I really think it depends. The term "plus size" is a huge range. There is a difference between a plus size woman being a size 14/16 and 36. Not to mention people have different body types.
My mom wears a 22/24 but she is bigger on the bottom and smaller on the top. Leggings and skinny jeans would not compliment her and she would be the first person to say another woman looks "stank" when they wear clothes that don't fit their body type - whether petite or plus size.
So to answer your question, I think it really depends on you and your body.

I love my skinny jeans!!! If you have a looser fitting top, why not? I never thought I could but I bought a pair and IMO they look better on me than a looser/baggier pair of jeans.

ITA. I am a size 14. Most of my weight is in my belly . I wear leggings/skinny jeans with a bigger top.
