can Milestones like walking cause sleep disturbances and more clinginess?
anyone have this experience?i have read about it but wonder if it's true...DD is on the verge of independently walking. she is normally a very good night sleeper but i have heard her up here and there at night. she is also ridiculously clingy lately. i cannot move without her holding my legs and its driving me insane!
can i blame the milestone on this?
TIA for any info!

Of course, it's a scary world out there!! They look to you for a LOT of reassurance. Of course that could just be the age where they become super clingy!

DD got real strange right before she started walking. It was that and the combo of her molars coming in

right the molars! i am blaming them too these days! i don't know what to make of her recent behavior!

Milestones can definitely cause sleep disturbances. They say it has to do with babies practicing and practicing things so much that they are even doing it in their sleep and it wakes them up.
Sabrina woke up a lot when she was beginning to crawl and walk. She has been waking a lot recently and I think it is because she is trying to string words together and make small sentences.
I hope it passes soon for all of us so we can all sleep better.

I've heard they can, and DSs sleep became bad right around now, as he's learning to crawl. But he also started teething, so it could be that.
