Can my 11 month old DS have egg white everyday?
My DS loooves a hard boiled egg... but I give him the egg whites only. Is it OK to give him one everyday?
He is picky... I always try different things - but just wanted to get your take on it - thanks!

Actually my ped said only egg yoks until a year- but every ped is different.
Egg whites are actually an allergan.
Now that she is a year she gets the whole egg. They need the fat at this age and one egg a day would never harm anyone- even an adult. Egg yolks have gotten a bad wrap but they are actually not all that high in cholesterol..

Oh wow! My DS has been having egg whites for about a month and a half now! He seems fine - but now I'm worried

No harm would be done unless he was allergic- which he obviously isn't since he had no reaction. But the yolk is just fine too...

DD eats a scrambled egg (yolk and whites) every single morning - she is on the lean side so I put a slice of american cheese in it to give her the fat and diary. Her doctor said it was more than fine.
