Can someone elaborate on the Nassau County tax assessment errors?
I know there was an issue with Garden City school district, but there were other towns who cited problems. I can't find the list of those towns. I received my new school tax bill and we had a nice decrease. I am hoping this is not an error  as we have been slammed with increases the past 4 years we've been here.

There was a problem with Wantagh SD too. The increase we were charged was a lot more than what we voted on. I heard that some legislators want the SDs to make up the difference, which I guess means we'll get hit with a higher increase at the next budget vote.

i can't open it either. i'm in one of the affected school districts. they're not charging us for their mistake... right?

Where can you find info on what districts are involved? My taxes went down too.....afraid this might be the reason!
