Can someone help me with a question I know NOTHING about??
Not sure if anyone can help me, but my brothers girlfriend is so upset. She is a senior in college, major is education and minor is science. She just found out that she is one biology class short of having a minor. She is looking for a school that offers a winter intersession class. She has to student teach next semester and her school doesnt offer a bio class with a lab at night.
Main thing is, it has to have a lab and be over the winter break for her to take her in NY. Can anyone help me suggest a school to her??? Thanks SO MUCH!!!

Maybe check out devry University, they have tri semesters. I would make sure the credit would be transferrable.
I got my masters at Pace and took a majority of the classes online. or can she take an online course at Pheonix?
I did undergrad at Adelphi and I know they had lab courses at night many moons ago and a continuing education program which offer evening classes.

Hofstra has a January session - I'm pretty sure it's 3 weeks. Not sure what classes they offer then.

SUNY Oldwestbury - online weather studies class with a lab
Hard class, but much easier then an actual class with a lab

Her best bet is to go to an advisor and talk to them about it - it would be terrible if she took a class and it wasn't transferable.
They can steer her in the right direction.

Nassau Community College has a Winterim. Calsses begin on 12/28 and end on 1/15.
She can search the classes available here.
Make sure her school approves of the transfer before she takes the class and make sure she gets it in WRITING. Tell her to also keep a copy. I learned the hard way.
