Can someone help me with the words for the lullaby HUSH LITTLE BABY DONT SAY A WORD.........
mumma/dadda gonna buy you a humming bird if that humming bird dont sing mumma/dadda gonna buy you a diamond ring if that diamond ring dont shine mumma/dadda gonna buy you a ................
i dont know the rest so after i get there i just hum and its making me CRAZY please help

I make up my own lyrics after diamond ring....momma's gonna buy you a porcupine, if that porcupine is sharp, mama's gonna buy you a brand new harp. If that brand new harp sounds ugly, mommas gonna buy you a little monkey

thankyou so much ladies i was about to go nuts i tryed making up my own words but it just wasnt right. i love that lullaby  now im going to have to remember the words

ha that sounds just like my version!!
Someone gave me some CD and it's similar to the lyrics posted above, but I never heard about bull, carts or dogs named rover.

THAT IS SO FUNNY!!! I sing that song everyday to my DD and I don't know anything past the second verse. I make it all up. She laughs at me, so maybe she knows I full of crap. LOL!!

am I the only one that remembers THIS version/

and if those roller skates dont roll, momma's gonna take em back to the store
and if the storekeeper wont take em back, mamma's gonna kick em in his A S S
